Bird box is an intriguing thriller, Based on the novel by Josh Malerman.

Wong, Vivien Lyra Blair, Julian Edwards just to mention a few. Bird Box is a Netflix Original movie premiered on November 12, 2018 at (AFI Fest), and streamed worldwide on  on December 21, 2018.

With the world in threat of a deadly apocalyptic scenes being reported in different parts of the world but no one has clue of what is transpiring. An Ominous unseen ghost that if seen with naked eyes, takes form to be a person’s worst fear or a loved one they loved but lost, makes people commit suicide or  worse force other people to look.

The story sees Malorie and her sister have a routine pregnancy checkup, while still in the hospital Malorie sees a woman smashing her head to a glass panel and suddenly chaos erupts, with insanely crazy events occurring. Jessica losses herself, with a face as if she got possessed she commits suicide right in-front of her sister.

Survivors lock themselves in but have to trust and work together to make it through. Many lives are lost and life becomes unbearable for many people with infected survivors making it even harder, leaving the gun and sword as way of life to be able to survive.

Five years later, Tom, Malorie and two children receive a transmission from other survivors of a safe zone community down the river but they warn them it’s not easy especially with the kids- Boy and Girl. On the way they are ambushed by the infected survivors and Tom who had a romantic spark with Malorie sacrifices himself to save them.

Malorie and kids finally reach the community and find people who are blind while others have voluntarily blinded themselves to avoid seeing the ominous being(s).

Sarah Paulson and John Malkovich being  personal favorites in this film. Sarah really played her short part well and made it count while Malkovich was such a character trying to help out but annoying at the same time.

Sandra Bullock as Malorie as you already know never disappoints in any role from dramas like The Blind Side and science Fictions like Gravity. Bird Box was no different what did you think about it?
